FGR Shareholder José Julián Alvarez Maldonado, as President of the Puerto Rico Chamber of Commerce, already successful in lobbying efforts for approval of the Economic Incentive Law, now leads efforts to repeal outdated Closing Law.
José Julián Álvarez Maldonado, Esq., Shareholder and member of the Corporate Division and President of the Puerto Rico Chamber of Commerce, has led the approval of laws such as the Incentives Law for the Economic Development of Puerto Rico of 2008 and presently heads the efforts to repeal Puerto Rico´s Closing Law. Furthermore, he has been participating in different discussion panels visiting members of the Senate and House of Representatives of Puerto Rico, meeting with different economic sectors and promulgating the institutional position of the Chamber of Commerce.
